Go south on US 231 for 6.0 miles to the Trailhead at the

intersection of US 231 and CR41.

From the US 231 Trailhead, turn right on CR 41.
Go 0.2 miles to the stop sign. Turn left on CR 41.
Go 6.4 miles to the 4 way stop sign in Weogufka.
CR 41 changed to CR 29 just before reaching the downtown

area.
Go straight through the 4 way for 5.2 miles to CR 16. Turn

right.
Go 0.1 miles and cross an old one lane creek bridge with no

guardrails.
Go 0.5 miles to a dirt road on the right. Turn here. This is the

CCC road to the top of Flagg Mountain. Go 1.7 miles to the

Trailhead.

Sylacauga, AL, go east on AL 148 for 10.5 miles to the top of

the ridge, just past the 11-mile marker. There are two dirt

roads here on the left that are about 50' apart.
Turn left on the first dirt road, FS 607 / Old Rocky Mountain

Road.
Go app. 50 yards to the trailhead parking area, on the left.

left, just past the 55-mile marker.

Go 17.9 miles to the end of the pavement. This is the Adams

Gap Trailhead parking area.

right, just past the 165 mile marker.

Go 8.8 miles to a dirt road, FS 500. Turn left. There is a black

mailbox on the right at this turn with this address- 2O346.
Go 2.0 miles to the North FS 500 Trailhead parking area- there

Primitive camping and hot showers are also available.

miles to Jackson Chapel Road (look for a large Mountain

Springs Baptist Church sign on the left). Go left.
Go 3.6 miles to the Jackson Chapel Trailhead parking area,

on the right.
The turn in is gravel and has enough room for 4 vehicles.
Please don’t block the gate.
