as the crow flies.

We have crows here in the southeast, lots of them.
I’ve always kinda thought of these guys as my friends.

When I was a kid playing in the woods, down behind
the house, I would see them pretty regular, like early
in the mornings when everything was so quiet.

They would fly in and sit on a branch, just kinda
looking around and maybe caw a couple of times,
sit around some more and then fly off.

Kinda creepy to a kid, but at the same time, not really.

So, I’m kinda wondering what the world looks like to
a crow while he’s flying around in the Talladega
National Forest and the North Wildlands (section 13 : )

kinda ~ kinda not scaring little kids : )
