Begin from the old downtown district of Sylacauga, AL at
the intersection of US 231 and AL 148.
Go south on US 231 for 6.0 miles to the Trailhead at the
intersection of US 231 and CR 41 / CR 155.
Day or overnight parking may be available at Dollar General.

PARK START HIKE VEHICLE
0.0 ~ FLAGG MOUNTAIN TRAILHEAD
From the US 231 Trailhead, turn right on CR 41 /
CR 155.
Go 0.2 miles to the stop sign. Turn left on CR 41.
Go 6.4 miles to the 4 way stop sign in Weogufka. AL. CR 41
changed to CR 29 just before reaching the downtown area.
Go straight through the 4 way for 5.2-miles to CR 16. Turn
right.
Go 0.1 miles and cross an old one lane creek bridge with no
guardrails.
Go 0.5 miles to a dirt road on the right. This is the CCC road
to the top of Flagg Mtn.
Go 1.7 miles to Flagg Mtn. Trailhead, on the right.
