Go straight across this 4 lane highway.
3.3 ~ ROCKHOUSE ROAD / HOLMAN CROSSROADS / CR 66 ~ 793’
Turn left here. Yes, I know what you're thinking.
No, you won't hear banjo music or pigs squealing.
Yes, the trail goes through several nice neighborhoods :)
3.5 ~ PASS VICTORY HARBOUR LIGHTHOUSE CHURCH
4.0 ~ CROSS ONE LANE BRIDGE ~ SW ~ 747’
4.1 ~ TURN RIGHT ON REDBUD ROAD ~ 750’
4.3 ~ TURN RIGHT ON AZALEA LANE ~ 811’

4.6 ~ TURN RIGHT ON GRAVEL ROAD
After a little bit, look for a really sharp curve to the left. There is a good blaze at the end of the sharp curve. There is a gravel road / driveway? here at the beginning of the curve that makes it kinda look like the road / trail goes straight. It do not :)
5.3 ~ CR 511 CROSSING ~ CS, TT, HS ~ 825’
Go straight across CR 511 onto Trammel Motorway.

Cars are coming down the hill really fast!!

HS ~ Go left on CR 511 for 3.3 miles to the stop sign at AL 21. There is a convenience store here.
Turn right on AL 21 and go appx. 2 miles to downtown Sylacauga.
5.4 ~ CROSS OVER NORFOLK SOUTHERN RR TRACKS

Turn right.
7.0 ~ FORK / LONG LEAF PINE RESTORATION AREA
Take the right fork and continue on FS603A. The left fork is gated. There are lots of new growth Long Leaf PineS on right in the open field. It takes around 6 years for the Long Leaf Pine to go from seed to about head high, on average. 
7.1 ~ TRAMMEL TRAILHEAD ~ 945’
Look for the gravel parking area on the right with 4 parking slots.

7.1 ~ TRAMMEL TRAILHEAD
Begin from the old downtown district of Sylacauga, AL at the intersection of AL 21 and AL 148.
Go east on AL 148 0.4 miles past the 3 mile marker to FS 603, on the right. This is a dirt road and you probably won’t see the little brown FS 603 sign until after you make the turn.
Go 2.6 miles to FS 603A. Turn Left.
Go 0.6 miles to a fork in the road with a yellow FS gate blocking the left fork. Take the right fork and go 350 feet to the trailhead parking area, on the right.

From the Trammel Trailhead parking area, go 0.6 miles back out to FS 603. Turn left.
Go 1.9 miles to CR 511. Turn Left.
Go 2.3 miles to CR 4. Turn right.
Go 5.5 miles to the AL 21 / CR 150 Trailhead. You should ask for permission to park here at Dollar General.
