The Pinhoti Trail either crosses over or sidehills around
the peak of 14 of the 100 Highest Named Summits in Alabama.
Please note that only what is considered a summit by the
US Geological Survey is on the top 100 list. Dugger Mountain
did not make the list for this reason, though it is the second
highest mountain in the state at 2140'.
